Moving from telling and
commanding to asking and listening
1. The
next time you get an important announcement or decision will you be able to
frame it in such a way so that you can say ‘this is what I believe and think,
tell me if I am right, tell me how I might be wrong and tell me what I am
missing.’ Because if you ask those questions and you are sincerely looking for
an answer, not just going through the motions, you will get some additional
information that will be powerful.
